V-Limited

Register for “V for Victory” Limited Edition cars

In 1995, Subaru won their first World Rally Championship Manufacturers' Championship (WMC), and they used this success to promote their road car sales by introducing several Limited Edition “V-Limited” versions of certain performance models. The first of these went on sale in Japan in January 1996, based on the Impreza WRX and WRX type RA STi version II, then the following month they were joined by Limited Edition versions of the Legacy GT.

Subaru had further WMC victories in 1996 and 1997, which were followed by more “V-Limited” road cars based on performance versions of the Impreza and Legacy. In 2003, the name was again used, this time to celebrate Petter Solberg’s Drivers Championship victory.
